Optimum is a child placing agency licensed and funded by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services serving boys and girls from birth to 17 in our foster care and therapuetic foster care programs.

We recruit, orient, train and support foster families who develop their capacities to provide a nurturing and structured environment for children and youth, pending their return home, adoption or transition into independent living.

The Focus

Our focus is on the quality of care given to the children under our supervision. We believe that great responsiblity comes with authority. We exist to provide the highest quality of care possible to our clients.

We also focus on our parents who are the true agents of change in the lives of these children. The most important way we do this is by developing and maintaining a close relationship with our families. This keeps them well-equipped and creates a nurturing environment for the children and results in positive outcomes.
