be a Foster Parent |
The general requirements to become a foster parent
are:
•
Responsible, Healthy, Mature Adult (at least 23 yrs old)
•
Stable Income
•
Reliable Transportation
•
Married or divorced for at least one year
•
Home Study Conducted by Optimum
•
Child Abuse and Criminal Clearances
•
27 hrs of Pre-Service Training - Provided by Optimum.
•
Home must pass a Fire/Health Inspections
•
Adequate bedroom space for foster child
•
Compete/Maintain CPR & First Aid
